Atlanta-based Arrow Exterminators announced the promotion of Tommy Giardino to senior vice president of operations for the East Coast of Florida and the Gulf Coast. Giardino formerly served as the regional vice president of the East Coast of Florida. In his new position, Giardino will be joining the Arrow Exterminators Executive Committee.
Truly Nolen Pest Control announced the promotion of Julio Pujol to manager of the company’s North Miami, Fla., service office. Pujol will help the office gain more visibility in North Miami. He joined the company in 2015 and has nearly 30 years of experience in the pest control industry. In other news at the company, Thomas Richards was promoted to manager of the company’s Salt Lake service office.
The Professional Pest Management and Vector Control business of Bayer, within the company’s Environmental Science Unit, announced the promotion of two sales team members to leadership positions in the business’s marketing and operations teams. David Braness has become the general insect control (GIC) product manager, succeeding Ray Daniels, who was recently elevated to head of marketing for professional pest management (PPM) and vector control (VC). Additionally, Scott Broaddus has assumed a newly formed role, business development manager, within the business’s commercial operations team. Braness joins the PPM marketing team after five years as a Western area sales manager based out of California. Broaddus has assumed a newly formed business development manager role, reporting to Ildem Bozkurt, head of Professional Pest Management and Vector Control for the U.S.
Orlando-based Massey Services announced Lynne Frederick has been promoted to senior vice president of marketing. Frederick oversees the company’s advertising, marketing, public relations and events.
In other news at the firm, Ed Dougherty has been promoted to the position of executive vice president, COO. In Dougherty’s new role he will be responsible for all operations for the residential and commercial business in all six states that the company currently services.
Finally, Stu Lewis has been named sales director. He will be responsible for both Massey’s commercial and residential sales business. Lewis joined Massey Services as a consultant in 2015.
