Truly Nolen Pest Control, Tucson, Ariz., promoted Damon Evans to manager of the company’s Palm Desert (Calif.) service office. He joined Truly Nolen in February 2016 as a salesperson.
Truly Nolen promoted Juan Habed to manager of the company’s South Miami service office in Cutler Bay, Fla. Habed joined Truly Nolen in April 2020 as a manager-in-training and spent 35 years in the petroleum industry in his home country of Nicaragua, as well as Costa Rica, Panama, Belize and other Caribbean markets.
Truly Nolen’s Information Technology Director George Lawlor was named a finalist for the 2021 Arizona Chief Information Officer of the Year ORBIE award in the Corporate Category. Lawlor has more than 27 years of IT experience.
Aptive Environmental, Provo, Utah, hired Ryan Byrd as its new chief technology officer. Byrd has more than two decades of extensive engineering, software system development and IT experience. Irwin Levy joined Terminix as an M&A consultant. Levy owned and operated Aladdin Pest Control, Garden City, N.Y., for more than 40 years before selling the business to Terminix.
Two employees at Terminix Service, Columbia, S.C., were recognized at the South Carolina Pest Control Association’s Pest Pro Summit in May. Renee Tucker, Piedmont region administrator, was named Administrative Professional of the Year. Rion Cobb, vice president of human services, was awarded the inaugural Fred Cliff Distinguished Service Award.
