Syngenta

With a continued commitment to helping PMPs grow their businesses, Syngenta has launched its 2020 PestPartners 365 Program. Starting Oct. 1, pest management companies of all sizes began working toward qualification for yearlong rebates, the company said.

To qualify, PMPs can purchase any combination of products from the entire Syngenta Professional Pest Management (PPM) portfolio to generate at least $200 in base rebates during the qualification period (Oct. 1, 2019-April 30, 2020). No forms are required to redeem rebates, and, once qualified, PMPs will automatically receive rebates on all Syngenta purchases made during the entire program year (Oct. 1, 2019-Sept. 30, 2020).

“Receiving rebates is an easy process,” said Marshall Gaster, market manager for PPM at Syngenta. “The PestPartners 365 Program embodies this idea by rewarding PMPs who are already purchasing the pest control products they need.”

Other program benefits include: 
• The ability to estimate rebate savings through the online rebate calculator.
• Payment deferrals on select products with SummerPay terms until June 26, 2020, to help manage cash flow.
• Sample purchase orders that provide an easy way to qualify within the introductory (or “Partner”) level.

A one-time Early Order Bonus rebate is also available to PMPs who purchase Syngenta products that generate at least $500 in base rebates between Oct. 1-Dec. 6, 2019.

AP&G

AP&G Co. recently announced the release of its new and improved Catchmaster Catch Zone Pest Boundary Roll, a fast and cost-effective way to protect and monitor large areas from pests, the firm said. The product now contains 300 percent more glue for extra holding power and a heavier paper that lays flatter, making it easier to work with and an even more effective tool for pest professionals, AP&G said.

Catch Zone Pest Boundary Roll is easy-to-deploy, enabling pest professionals to protect large areas in less time, the manufacturer reported. Each roll measures 60 feet by 12 inches and is easily cut, making it an ideal tool for use around pallets in areas like warehouses, food production facilities, supermarkets and more, AP&G says.

Catch Zone can be installed along walls to provide a clear line of sight, as well as around pallets to eliminate potential harborage areas. The heavier paper on Catch Zone lays flatter and can be secured with duct, masking or gaff tapes.

Pest management professionals in Southern California wishing to sell and install EPA-registered TAP Pest Control Insulation now have more purchasing options since Univar Solutions has teamed up with Pest Control Insulation. “We are excited to work with Univar Solutions in Southern California,” said Chris White, vice president of sales at Pest Control Insulation. “Univar Solutions has the capacity to provide our existing and potential customers quicker access to our products, such as EPA-registered TAP Pest Control Insulation and insulation machines. The partnership is a great addition to our existing distribution program.”

Coxreels

Coxreels recently introduced the all new gear reducing idler sprockets for the 1195 Series electric motorized hose reels. This new add-on benefits the user in reducing the rewind speed, increasing motor torque and fitting an optional 3-way pin lock, the company said.

These high-quality, all steel idler sprockets are chain sprocket assemblies with a corrosion protective coating that change the drive ratio of the motor-to-drum drive system. They are available in three ratios (1:2, 1:3 and 1:4) and each ratio will effectively slow down the rewind speed of the drum by a multiple of the ratio factor and will increase the effective motor torque by the same factor, providing the necessary safety and control during rewind of the large, 2-inch diameter hose.

Verizon Connect

Verizon Connect offers fleet-based businesses, including pest management companies, its Verizon Connect Integrated Video product to help fleet managers improve safety and mitigate risk within their fleet of vehicles.

Verizon Connect Integrated Video leverages artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to help businesses improve driver behavior and protect the bottom line, the company says. Verizon Connect Integrated Video is a smart dash-cam solution that provides data insights to help pest control technicians stay safe on the road and protect them against false claims in the event of any incident, the company reports.

Verizon Connect Integrated Video uses AI to intelligently capture and automatically classify video according to how severe an event is, showing only what is relevant and important to business owners and operations managers. Additional features include Speed Overlay, which enables operations managers to easily view the speed of the vehicle directly within the video clip to determine if speed is the factor that caused the event, and Video on Demand, which allows operations managers to request 40-second increments of available footage.

Zarbeco

The MiScope is a handheld digital microscope that PMPs can use for a number of applications, including identification and documentation, displaying images to customers and training. Whether PMPs want to show bed bugs to their customers or send an image to their entomologist for identification, the MiScope digital microscopes feature a portable suite of tools and accessories for capturing, managing, labeling, presenting, emailing and viewing images or videos large and detailed on a computer screen. The MiScope fits in the palm of your hand and is powered from a laptop or tablet computer with a USB port. PMPs can connect their MiScope to some Android phones or add Zarbeco’s optional wireless adapter to use Apple and Android phones and tablets.

WorkWave

WorkWave announced the launch of WorkWave Payments, a streamlined, PCI Level 1 certified payment solution seamlessly integrated into both WorkWave PestPac and WorkWave Service solutions.
