On April 27, seven tornadoes moved through east Texas, devastating an area of more than 500 square miles. Texas-based Ardent Pest Control loaded seven vehicles with 26 employees and headed off to the heart of the damage. They hauled debris, salvaged household items, delivered water, and did their best to spread hope, the company said.
Cooper Pest Solutions recently implemented a grant program in conjunction with the Philadelphia Insectarium and Butterfly Pavilion to allow children the chance to gain a better understanding of insects and their value to the environment. The Cooper Grant is an annual contest that children can apply for and if selected, will receive travel and admission costs to the Insectarium.
A Plus Pest Management was recently voted as “Best Pest Control Company” in Cleveland, Tenn., by readers of the Cleveland Daily Banner newspaper. The paper has approximately 50 different categories for local business awards, and this is the third consecutive year the business has been honored. A Plus Pest Management was founded in 1990 and is still led by owner/founder David Huff.Throughout Georgia and South Carolina, 21 Gene Higginbotham Memorial Scholarships were awarded to high school students by American Pest Control. All the recipients boasted many academic, athletic or community service-oriented accomplishments throughout their high school careers and reflected the values held by the Higginbotham family, the company said. American Pest Control introduced the Gene Higginbotham Memorial Scholarship in May 2016. Higginbotham founded American Pest Control in 1971.
