Rose Pest Solutions, Troy, Mich., earned its fifth consecutive Quality Partner of the Year award from Copesan, a national pest management provider. The award is given annually to Copesan partners with the highest level of consistent quality in their division based on service delivery, net promoter score, audits, action plan follow-through and adherence to specific client protocols.
Atlanta-based Arrow Exterminators opened a new home service center in Bradenton, Fla., to service Southwest Florida, including the markets of Bradenton, Sarasota, Tampa and St. Petersburg. The home service center will operate as Hughes Exterminators, which is a member of the Arrow Exterminators family of brands, and will specialize in wildlife control and exclusion, handyman services and insulation services.
JP Pest Services, Milford, N.H., announced the redesign of its website, jppestservices.com. The redesign includes better mobile functionality and a simplified user experience. It also showcases the company’s brand evolution. “With more than 50 percent of our site traffic coming from mobile devices, the user experience on mobile needs to be the same if not better than desktop,” said Marketing Manager Jennifer Hill. “It won’t matter how sleek and trendy the site looks, if it’s not easy to use or doesn’t function smoothly, then you’ve missed the mark.”
Loyal Termite & Pest Control won the Richmond (Va.) Magazine’s Reader’s Choice Award for pest control services and the Angie’s List Super Service Award. This is the ninth consecutive year Loyal, now a part of Rentokil, has received the Reader’s Choice Award from Richmond Magazine, and the 12th consecutive year it has received the Super Service Award from Angie’s List.
Cascade Pest Control, based in Bothell, Wash., is celebrating 40 years in business this year. The firm, which opened in 1979, has since expanded to places such as Renton, Maple Valley and Woodinville, as well as Olympia, the Kitsap Peninsula, the islands of Puget Sound and the Bellingham area.
TORCO, Columbus, Ohio, announced its acquisition of Giddy Up and Go Termite and Pest Control, also based in Columbus. Giddy Up is a termite and pest control firm with more than three decades of experience. “The merger is a perfect fit for TORCO, which is aggressively pursuing small companies and operators who want to sell or merge their companies with a growing firm,” said John Breen, president of TORCO.
