It is a pheromone lure that attracts the Indian meal moth, almond moth, Mediterranean flour moth, warehouse/tobacco moth, warehouse beetle, cabinet beetle, cigarette beetle and more. Pheromone-baited traps can be used in food warehouses, mills, food-manufacturing facilities, seed facilities and other locations where a stored product insect infestation can occur.
Bullet Lures utilize a slow-release membrane technology and color-coded acetate beads to produce a consistent pheromone release rate, the company said, adding that the multi-species lure will last 90 days.

Universal Pest Solutions
www.allclearmister.com
Universal Pest Solutions, a mosquito control product manufacturer, has launched Attractive Targeted Sugar Bait Mosquito Concentrate (ATSB). Marketed under the brand name Terminix Allclear, this patented mosquito control technology marks a technological advancement in mosquito control, the company said. ATSB works by attracting, killing and then collapsing mosquito species, including the tiger mosquito (Aedes albopictus). While the concept of sugar baiting insects has been researched for some time, this provides it in a commercially viable mosquito control product, the firm reports.
Universal Pest Solutions has the exclusive rights to market ATSB in the United States from FASST Products of Rockville Center, N.Y. Universal sells ATSB exclusively to Terminix International in the professional pest control market and to ADAPCO in the municipal mosquito market, but plans to broaden the reach to other channels in 2015 and beyond.
According to the manufacturer, ATSB is an environmentally friendly, EPA-exempt formula developed and patented by Westham, an Israeli- and Dallas, Texas-based company. The formula contains sugar from fruit extracts and encapsulated garlic oil that are safe to use around people, pets and food, the company said. The special combination of fruit extracts in the formula acts as a bait to attract mosquitoes searching for a sugar meal, and the encapsulated garlic is a gut toxin, the company says. After the mosquitoes ingest the bait, they typically die within 48 hours. Studies show more than a 90 percent reduction in mosquito populations three weeks post application. Additional research shows that female mosquitoes do not seek a blood meal after ingesting ATSB.
