Bell Laboratories

Bell Laboratories recently introduced new Ditrac Ground Squirrel bait, with the multi-feed, first-generation anticoagulant diphacinone. It can be used for the control of the California ground squirrel in California, Oregon, Washington, Wyoming, Utah, Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona and North Dakota.
Specifically developed to appeal to California ground squirrels, Ditrac Ground Squirrel bait is available in a 12-pound pail or 50-pound bag with its active ingredient at 0.005 percent. The highly palatable formula competes with California ground squirrel’s natural food sources, Bell Labs reports. This non-restricted rodenticide will give PMPs an excellent tool to control ground squirrels around man-made structures, the manufacturer says.
From the makers of PCQ, Ditrac Ground Squirrel Bait can be applied within 100 feet of man-made structures when used with a secured, tamper-resistant bait station.

Editor’s note: The following Real Green Systems entry was edited on 10/26/2015 to reflect Real Green Systems having changed the name of its new standalone app from Fleet Assistant to Truck Assistant.
Real Green Systems
www.realgreen.com
Real Green Systems added two new products to its software lineup. Routing Assistant, powered by ALK Maps and Truck Assistant, is a versatile and comprehensive answer to vehicle tracking, Real Green Systems says. Routing Assistant replaces Mapping Assistant, which used the now-defunct MapPoint as its routing engine. Routing Assistant uses ALK Maps, powered by PC Miler. There is no additional software to purchase or install for each workstation. Street data is updated continuously and automatically and included with a subscription.
Truck Assistant is Real Green Systems’ first standalone application since Service Assistant. In addition to showing where vehicles are, the system allows users to view completed stops, remaining stops and any unscheduled travel. Users can view all of their vehicles on a single page, including summaries of miles traveled per day, start and end fuel levels, average miles per gallon, maximum speeds and more. Functionality includes scheduled maintenance alerts and tracking by road map, satellite map and weather map.

Syngenta Professional Pest Management now offers Talon Ultrablok rodenticide in a 16-pound case containing two 8-pound pails.
Talon Ultrablok is the most recent rodenticide innovation from Syngenta PPM. Featuring a novel, attractive formulation, it provides comprehensive resistance management and rodent control, Syngenta reports.
Talon Ultrablok contains brodifacoum, as well as unique ingredients that have been shown to improve acceptance of the bait, Syngenta Professional Pest Management says. Rats and mice only need to eat a small amount of the bait to receive a lethal dose of the active ingredient, which helps control rodents in a single feeding, including warfarin-resistant rodents.
The new Talon Ultrablok pail option is registered in the state of New York. The Talon Ultrablok 16-pound case containing two 8-pound pails is not currently registered in the state of California.
PMPs can receive year-long rebates on purchases of the new Talon Ultrablok pails with the PestPartners 365 Program. For more information, visit www.PestPartners365.com.
