With over 20 years of experience in leading operations, quality assurance, continuous improvement, maintenance and even sales at various manufacturing facilities, Dan White has seen and done a lot.
When he received a watch for his eighth birthday, White found a passion for measuring and improving processes for virtually everything that he did. This fascination continued when he started working in a manufacturing plant to save money for law school. He instantly loved the work and switched paths.
White understands first-hand how demanding manufacturing can be. He knows what it’s like to be woken up at 3 a.m. with an issue. He also knows how to solve many of the challenges manufacturers are still struggling with. Now, as a continuous improvement coach at SafetyChain, White is helping manufacturers digitize their plant management processes. Digital plant management not only enables more production outcomes, but also helps reduce many of the issues that take people away from a good night’s sleep, from their child’s baseball game or from a much-needed vacation. Helping people get rid of the anxieties of risk and become more efficient is what gives White the most satisfaction.
