PLACENTIA, Calif. – GreenTech Heat Solutions direct-fired propane bed bug heaters can achieve lethal temperatures within 15 minutes, the manufacturer reports.. The Titan 800 can generate more than 990,000 BTU and the energies ducted into the treatment area require continual thermal monitoring.
Until now, direct-fired bed bug heaters have required a technician’s manual adjustments to maintain temperatures and ensure the safety on the heat job. A major convenience of doing a heat treatment with GreenTech Heat ePro electric bed bug heaters is the integrated thermostat that automatically switches off the heat when the treatment reaches a set temperature. The ePro thermostat ensures the job’s thermal requirements are achieved while limiting heat stress to the contents of the structure from unmonitored heat.
The company has now engineered the benefits of its electric heater into its Titan direct-fired heaters with its patent pending Titan Thermostat System. According to the manufacturer, the Titan Thermostat System creates the first true thermostatically-controlled portable direct-fired propane insect heater. Unlike competitive products, the GreenTech Heat Titan Thermostat System maintains the jobsite temperature both by turning off the fuel flow when the jobsite achieves maximum temperatures and restarts the Titan heater when probe temperature decreases by 10?.
For many years, GreenTech Heat Solutions has shipped the Titan 450 and Titan 800 with integrated thermometers which show the temperature of the treatment air exiting the heater barrel so the heat technician can manually adjust the REGO valve and control the propane flow and heat. The Titan Thermostat System provides truly automatic heater control which switches off the Titan heater when a specific temperature is achieved within the treatment area.
The Titan Thermostat System can easily be retrofitted and integrated onto any current Titan heater. Effective immediately, all new Titan 450 and Titan 800 heaters now come standard with the Titan Thermostat System.
