Rose Pest Solutions announced the passing of colleague, Larry “Joe” Cavender, (55) on Dec. 6, after a two-year battle with pancreatic cancer. The company extends support to Cavender's wife JoAnn and their two daughters Brianna, 25 and Erin, 20.
Cavender spent more than 25 years in the pest control industry, the last four with Rose. He quickly became branch manager, helping to lead the largest branch in the Rose network.
“Joe was an integral part of the Rose family and we will miss him terribly. He was a hard worker with a welcoming smile who became a trusted colleague to all who worked with him. There should be more people in the world like Joe Cavender,” Rose Pest Solutions Owner Bob Dold said.
Some of Joe’s notable contributions included companywide termite training, holding educational public health seminars for realtors, home inspectors and the hospitality industry as well as participating in high school career days and Girl Scout Spark Days.
