CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Pest Authority and Mosquito Authority, part of Main Line Brands, recently celebrated some of its all-star franchisees at the company’s international convention at the El Conquistador Resort in Puerto Rico.

For Pest Authority, Ken and Stacey Juergens and Andrea Prater, owner trio in the Lakelands region of South Carolina, were honored with the Franchisee of the Year Award. New to the brand, brother duo Jason and James Dolan, owners of Pest Authority of Grand Rapids, Michigan, were named the Rookie of the Year.

Prater and the Juergens’ were recognized for their success in business including achieving the highest increases in Pest Authority revenue year-over-year, adopting all pest service offerings available, prioritizing strong ties in their local community and the ambassadorship they have provided for other franchisees in the system. A family-operated business, husband-wife duo Ken and Stacey Juergens alongside Ken’s sister Andrea Prater bring over ten years of pest control industry experience to their location. As longtime Mosquito Authority franchisees, the trio added Pest Authority to their offerings years ago and have continued to expand since.

Selected from more than 275 locations across the United States and Canada, the Dolans received the Rookie of the Year Award, a recognition of the rapid growth they’ve achieved during their first two years of Pest Authority operation. A family operated business backed by nearly twenty years of experience in the pest control industry, the brother duo first began their entrepreneurial journey with Mosquito Authority and Pest Authority two years ago.

“Receiving this recognition from the Main Line Brands team is an honor,” said Jason Dolan, co-owner of Mosquito Authority of Grand Rapids. “We’ve seen it all in the industry, and listening to our customers’ concerns about pests and being able to provide lasting solutions is very rewarding. We look forward to continuing the momentum we’ve built so far and doing so as part of such reputable brands like Mosquito Authority and Pest Authority.”

For Mosquito Authority, wife-husband team Colette and Sean Lewis, owners of Mosquito Authority of Greater Cincinnati, were granted the Franchisee of the Year Award. New to the brand, Randy Ray, owner of Mosquito Authority of St. Cloud in Minnesota, was recognized as Rookie of the Year.

Selected from more than 500 locations across the United States and Canada, the Lewises were honored as Franchisee of the Year due to their commitment to providing consistent, high-quality mosquito control services and exceptional customer experiences. Heavily involved in their local community, they actively support their local school system and athletic booster club. Since launching their Mosquito Authority business in 2021, they’ve expanded their service to include Pest Authority services.

“As a majority women-owned and family-operated business that includes our son and daughter, we are so honored to receive this recognition,” said Colette Lewis, co-owner of Mosquito Authority of Greater Cincinnati. “What began as a home-based business has grown into a warehouse operation with three trucks and a desire for continued growth. We are humbled by the recognition from the Main Line Brands team and proud to be a part of such a supportive franchise system as we continue to grow.”

Ray received the Rookie of the Year Award for the rapid growth in customers and revenue experienced in his region during his first year of operation. Ray currently operates a family-run business, with his sister playing an integral role in helping him out in the field and his mother handling office and administration responsibilities.

“As a new business owner, I am grateful to Main Line Brands not only for this recognition, but also for the support and resources that they’ve provided over the last year,” said Ray. “With the help of my sister and mother, we’ve created a family-run business that prioritizes delivering the highest quality service possible, and we feel that our success is a testament to that commitment to service. We look forward to more growth in the years to come as we continue to serve the St. Cloud community.

This marked the first time that Main Line Brands — parent company to Mosquito Authority, Pest Authority and Fitness Machine Technicians — brought together all three brands in an international setting for its annual convention.

“Bringing our franchisees from all three brands together for the first time far exceeded our expectations,” said Chris Buitron, chief executive officer of Main Line Brands. “As a parent company, our goal with this convention was to encourage relationship building, offer effective business resources for owners and celebrate their accomplishments over the past year. From Canada to Puerto Rico and across the U.S., our local owners continue to keep Mosquito Authority, Pest Authority and Fitness Machine Technicians at the top of the leaderboard in their respective industries. We’re proud to recognize those who are leading the charge in strengthening each of our brands.”
