SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – With a strong belief in the importance of giving back, Thomas Pest Services has made it a priority to participate in various events and initiatives throughout the year.
One of the unique attributes of Thomas Pest Services is their dedication to "give back." This value is deeply ingrained in the company's culture and is reflected in its recent participation in several events. In November, the Leadership Team had the opportunity to cook breakfast for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House of Albany. After preparing a delicious breakfast, the team took a tour of the building and saw firsthand the impact of their contribution.
In the spirit of the holiday season, Thomas Pest Services also collected toys from customers and team members to support the local Toys for Tots program. This initiative ensures that children in need receive a special toy for Christmas, bringing smiles and hope during the festive season.
But the giving didn't stop there. The Leadership Team also joined forces with Logan Strong, a local organization dedicated to supporting children with cancer and their families. Together, they provided 100 Happy Meals to children at Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Med, the children's hospital at Albany Medical Center. In addition, they put together gift bags filled with holiday-themed goodies to bring some cheer to the children during their hospital stay.
Sarah Thomas-Clark, vice president of Thomas Pest Services, expressed her enthusiasm for these initiatives: "At Thomas Pest Services, we believe in the power of community and the joy of giving back. These activities are not just about philanthropy; they're about connecting with our community and making a real, tangible difference. Our dedication to the community mirrors our profound commitment to fostering care and support in the areas we call home and serve."
Thomas Pest Services, deeply rooted in community involvement, consistently seeks opportunities to give back, driven by our core values of commitment, determination, humility, and generosity, reflecting our unwavering dedication to community service and our company vision.
