The Wisconsin Pest Control Association (WPCA) hosted their annual Midwest Pest Con Conference, Feb. 11-12, at the Kalahari in Wisconsin Dells. This year boasted record breaking attendance with 228 registrants and 28 exhibitors.
Over the course of the two-day conference, attendees participated in ten educational sessions covering biology and control methods, business development, regulatory requirements from the Department of Agriculture and highlighting NPMA’s numerous member benefits.
Fifteen Wisconsin technicians invested in furthering their credentials and tested to become State of Wisconsin Master Technicians.
The second day of the conference kicked off with keynote speaker Tom Farley, the late Chris Farley’s brother. Farley’s session sparked emotion and moved attendees as he shared his family’s story of addiction, love and forgiveness.
One attendee said, “The sessions were very engaging and the number of quality conversations happening both in the educational sessions and while networking were top notch!” While vendors commented that it was a great show with lots of exhibit room time and very engaged attendees.
